Bullet train

The state rail authority plans to hold monthly public meetings in San Jose.  The public gets its first opportunity to be heard this Thursday.   There are concerns about noise, traffic, construction impact on local businesses and communities, under ground or elevated rail options, and other issues.  The draft environmental impact report for the Bay Area segments of the bullet train isn't due for another 8 months.
