Good news for South San Jose homeowners. The median sales price for homes was $840,000. This is an increase of 12% from the prior year and up $15,000 from June 2017.
Active listings were at a very low level 46 or down 63% from July 2016. Low housing inventory places higher pressure on home prices. The Average Days to Sell was 14 days which was similar to last year. Finally, there were 83 new listing which is a little less than 3 new listings coming to market each day which is slightly lower than last year. In summary, we continue to be in a Seller’s market.
