Sell a home by yourself (for sale by owner) or employ a real estate agent?

Dave Ramsey, the well-known, financial guru was asked if he had to sell his home, would he sell the home via for sale by owner  (FSBO) route to save money or employ a real estate agent.    Although he has a real estate license for 30 years, he, personally would hire a real estate agent.   The major reason is marketing the home to as many buyers as possible.  According to Dave, the FSBO route limits the number of potential buyers that will see the property.   A savvy, experienced real estate has access to the MLS (multiple listing service) which will immediately expose the home to many more potential buyers.    See article here.
