Yahoo expected to build a mega campus near Rivermark in Santa Clara

Yahoo is expected to build a 3 million square foot campus in Santa Clara near the Rivermark community.   It will servce up to 12,000 employees, including 10,000 parking spaces, on the planned 48 acre site near Tasman and Old Ironsides.   The Santa Clara Planning Commission is set to vote on 4/14/10 on certifying the environmental impact report.   If it gets approved, the City Council is expected to approve it by late June.   Yahoo would like to begin construction of the first phase within a year of approval.  

This campus is expected to have a positive impact on the home prices at Rivermark in Santa Clara.
